You can look forward to the following tasks:
- Supervise communication towards Global Account
- Support the Organization of Ocean freight bookings and orders from our customer
- Active correspondence with shipping lines
- Generating new business opportunities (business development on existing accounts)
- Analysis and Improvement of current business operation
- Claim / Complaint Management
- KPI Management
- Active Role in pricing tasks (Spot Shipments etc.)
- Preparation of Quotations
- Regular performance meetings (in person) on-site
- Visiting clients to strengthen relationships and to identify key requirements
- Present and negotiate solution models to customers
- Close communication with Control Tower Team in Germany
- To lead and drive the development of new business, while growing existing accounts to their full potential
- Strategic support of the sales team
- Build solutions for our (global) customers
- Pricing for small & big business (tender)
- Processing of tenders in close co-operation with tender management and input of tender-relevant information
- Close cooperation within our Kerry Logistics Network
- Maintaining and expanding our South East Asia tradelane (travelling to the respective partners, houses, trade fair events, etc.)
- Contact person for all matters relating to the respective trade in relation to the region
The following knowledge/requirements are required:
- Many years of professional experience in freight forwarding, knowledge in trade lane management or sales preferred
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in business administration (focus on logistics) / or a comparable education/qualification preferred
- Knowledge of transport logistics processes and operational transport handling
- You enjoy communicating with customers and argue actively and positively from the acquisition to the successful conclusion of a contract - both on-site at the customer's premises and via digital media
- High degree of initiative, assertiveness, flexibility and sense of responsibility, as well as the ability to work in a team
- Independent and solution-oriented work and enjoy familiarizing yourself with new sectors and projects
- Fluent in writing and spoken German and English
